Call for Submissions

Oh, I wish I could do it all over again…

As a Computers and Composition print alumnus, have you ever wished your article could live again—but in web form? Maybe your 1985 article had a secret web-version that never saw the light of day because the technology hadn’t caught up with your vision. Maybe your 1999 article is more than relevant in print, but would really rock with Flash or Shockwave. Or maybe your more than three-years old article is worth another look as an extension of your previous research, only this time using the multidimensional potential of the web. Join us in presenting the upcoming Spring 2005 Computers and Composition Online, an issue which will include “Digital Re-Visions.” Other submissions from new contributors (and not-so-new), are, as always, also welcome.

The current issue featuring work by Ellen Cushman (Theory into Practice) and Barclay Barrios (Print to Screen) can be seen at Computers and Composition Online . Computers and Composition Online is a refereed journal with submissions reviewed by two members of the editorial review board (for a listing see our editorial staff page ). In order to leave enough time for review and revision before the issue, please submit your web text as a URL no later than December 1, 2004 to allow for publication next spring. More information about submisions can be found at our submissions page . Direct email inquiries and URLs to Kris Blair, Editor, kblair@bgnet.bgsu.edu, or to one of the C&C Online Section Editors. Sections include Theory into Practice, The Virtual Classroom, Print to Screen, and Professional Development. As always, reviews of books, CDs, or other media pertaining to computers and composition are also welcome. Finally, join us on our new blog for a space to share and discuss our collective interest in all things computers and composition.
