CNET reports:
"Those who surf the Web using a Mac tend to be better educated and make more money than their PC-using counterparts, according to a report from Nielsen/NetRatings. The study also said Mac users tend to be more Web savvy, with more than half having been online for at least five years. And the Mac faithful are 58 percent more likely than the overall online population to build their own Web page and also slightly more likely to buy goods online, according to the report. "
Additionally, the article points out the "status symbol" value of the Mac. Readers interested in the cultural implications of Windows, Mac, and Linux might want to read Neal Stephenson's In the Beginning was the Command Line.

Re: Should I Feel Dumb? I Drive a PC.
From CamWorld: "I know a lot of very intelligent Windows users but most of the smartest people I know are using Macs, and the people who are even smarter than them are running Linux."
Ahhhh....see i was wondering about that. What would happen if you throw Linux into the mix (of course, I happen to be using windows on my box as I write this; do I feel dumber at this moment???).
